 The Iraqi people need to be
safeguarded by American troops

before we move out


abandon them”
 Although the war in Iraq brings risks, they are
necessary to ensure safety for the Iraqi
people.
 We will not keep the troops in Iraq a minute
longer than necessary, and we understand
mistakes made are very painful for all:

and action plans

National Security
“America must have the best manned,
best equipped and best supported
military in the world.”
 We will increase the size of the military
and military spending to protect the US
 We will continue to fight for better
military pay and conditions
 We will fight for an improved quality of
life for the families of military personnel

National Security Aims:To uncover plots before they occur and
protect the country from terrorist attack
 To prepare to respond and recover from
such an attack swiftly and effectively
 To ensure the War on Terrorism is
fought intelligently- with patience and
resolve

Health
Barack Obama has constantly lied about
John McCain’s Health plans.
 John McCain’s generous refundable tax
credit will not only shield millions of
families from a tax increase but will
actually give them more dollars to
invest in their health care needs.

Health Aims:1. Promote payment reform – moving
towards a system rewarding
coordinated and quality focused care.
 2. Eliminate Medicare fraud and abuse.
 3. Ensure that drug premiums are not
being subsidised.

Health Aims Continued:4. Promote a new generation of treatment
models that better manage chronic care
conditions.
5. Greater use of health IT and medical
homes.
6. Reduce drug costs by allowing greater
use of genetics.
Economy

Economy issues John McCain will
address.
Economic Aims:1. Lower energy costs which hurt small
businesses.
 2. Keep tax rates low by phasing out
Alternative Minimum Tax.
 3. Open new markets by engaging
multi-lateral bilateral regional efforts to
reduce trade barriers.

Economic Aims Continued:4. Expand domestic production of oil
and gas. – This will raise the value of
the $ and get rid of foreign oil
independence and improve the
economy.
 5. Cut corporate tax by 10%.

Economic Programmes.
HOME PLAN: Every deserving family offers
the opportunity to trade a mortgage for
manageable loans to reflect market value.
 Student Loan Continuity Plan: to avoid effects
of credit crunch.
 Government Spending: Pause programmes
(except essentials for a year to examine
spending.)

Education Aims:Meaningful reform in education,
providing for equality of choice
 Empowering parents to find the best
education for their children
 Improve teaching by providing bonuses
for those in underprivileged schools,
funding for development

Education Aims Continued:Give principals greater control over their
schools, with the discretion to make
choices beneficial for them
 Provide $250million for online learning
opportunities for children


