SAS Data Mining Account Create
This document will guide you how to create an online account to use
SAS services.
Every time when you start to use SAS data mining service, please go to url:
https://support.sas.com/ctx3/sodareg/index.html?execution=e1s1
You should see following interface before you login:
Input your email address. Temple email is recommended.
If this is your first time to use, it will redirect you to following page:
Click “create a new SAS profile”.

You should be able to see this registration page:
Input all fields above. Make sure your company name is “Temple University”. This is very important.
Otherwise you might not be able to use this service for free.
When you finish, click “Create Profile”, and you will see:
So, go to check your email and click the activiation link like this:

Input your password twice. Click “Set Password”. The password rule is similar to Temple Email account.
It’s better for you to use the same password as Temple Email.
Now your account is active:
Redirect to following page and choose “I am a student …” option.

Click “Next” button.
Choose “United States” as your school location. Then click “Next”.
Choose “Pennsylvania” and click “Next”

Choose “Temple University (Philadelphia)” and click “Next”.
Click “Submit Registration”
After you finish the registration, you need to accept SAS agreement
Agree and click “Enter” button.

Pick a username as your userid for SAS cloud computing services.
This process may take 1-2 minutes. So be patient until your userid is created
Now you need to get an active license for your use of SAS miner service. Click “Acquire a License”.
After that, you should be able to see following screen:

This screen lists all available courses that Temple University is providing at SAS. Choose your course
section and click “Continue”.
Click “Acquire License(s)” to continue. Once finish, you should be able to see:
Click “Return to my Home Page”

In your course information row, click “Get Software”
Congradulation! You are now ready to use SAS Miner by clicking it.
