ZEFA - Zootechny Exhibition and Farm Stock Arena Vatra Dornei, Aerodrom Floreni 21th-24th of May, 2015 ZEFA`s ADVANTAGE The only national event dedicated solely to products and services for the animal breeding sector. l LIVESTOCK shows, contests and livestock auctions Important livestock farmers traffic due to the strategic geographical positioning, in the mountain area, at the border of Bucovina and Transilvania, two regions with tradition in animal husbandry. On a 250 km distance from ZEFA venue there is a basin of livestock farmers who own a 44,32 percent from the total number of dairy and beef cattle breeds in Romania, 32.30 percent from the number of sheep and goats, and 40,61 percent from the number of horses. Direct communication campaign with farmers Organizers’ concern is to be present at all times at the farms and at the professional meetings of the farmers from the region to present the event`s news, to better understand the farmers' needs and their expectations. The team of ZEFA`s promoters is present at the most important events of its partners: conferences and seminars, local trades and other local events organized by farms. 2. Campaign through special events Launching conference of ZEFA 2015 (October, 2014)- The event was attended by over 300 farmers and specialists in the region Press conference for the opening of ZEFA 2O15 (May, 2015) The campaign for attracting farmers to ZEFA 4. Strategic partnerships with the most important farms, the main breeders associations, Suceava County Council and ANARZ. 5. Call center campaign The campaign for the promotion of ZEFA`s exhibition includes two extensive call center campaigns. The campaigns will take place on January and May and aim all the farmers with establishments in the following counties: Suceava, Botoșani, Bistrița Năsăud, Mureș, Harghita, Maramureș,Salaj, Cluj, Iași, Neamț, Bacău and Vaslui. 6. Outdoor advertising campaign Outdoor advertising campaign takes place from February to May in those 12 counties and it includes: panels on the European road and in the major towns from the region, banners and special outdoor display projects- over 100 billboards and banner displayed. TV and Radio campaign Campaign – from July to September TVR 1 - Viata Satului, RADIO Antena Satelor, AGRO TV, Radio Iasi si Radio Tg.Mures 9. Specialized Publications of the event Exponews ZEFA (newspaper) distributed in 5,000 copies to farmers and specialists (May). Previous Editions can be found at Organizers and breeders meeting for the presentation of ZEFA concept ( 22th of October, 2014 - Poiana Stampei) The ZEFA concept was presented, for the first time, in front of over 300 farmers from Moldavia and Transylvania on October, 22. The meeting, attended by the General Manager of ANARZ, Mr. Gheorghe Neață and the president of Suceava County Council, Mr. Cătălin Nechifor, confirmed the farmers need and interest for the proposed event and helped the organizers to integrate their suggestions in the ZEFA 2015 program.
