TS/SCI cleared Network Administrator for AF JWICS at Lackland AFB, TX
Job Description:
Will provide the following network administration support services, as required:
- Provide technical support for desktop systems software, hardware, and network infrastructure
connectivity and for installation augmentation to network engineers. Remote management tools include
Orion Solarwinds, Computer Associates NetQoS, and CISCO Secure 5.2.
- Administer network assets, configuration and performance through network management toolsets and
administrative functions.
- Categorize and resolve network issues by validating, isolating, and correcting faults and verifying
service restoral with customers.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of network switches and routers, power,
and computer data circuits and related apparatus/peripherals required to maintain network infrastructure.
- Provide core network services configuration, installation, and administration of data services at the
network hardware and software operating system level. Maintain operational availability of network
services. The devices will provide core, distribution, and access level services on the network.
- Deploy, manage and sustain enterprise-wide IA, cyber-defense, and incident reporting tools such as
audit management, media control, insider threat detection, and other various tools.
A successful candidate will have:
- AF JWICS experience.
- At least 4 years experience in network administration support.
- DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance certification as required for position.
- Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
