CONFERENCE:
Ben McMahon (G/R) was
instrumental in the launch of
E-Colors in Sport.
Congratulations to Ben for
his efforts and newly made
contacts. A big thank you
goes out to Ian Collins (B/R),
Lewis Senior (Y/R) &
Angelica Lopez (Y/R) for
their support throughout our
time at the conference.
One of the unique aspects about the training we offering in E-Colors and Personal Intervention
has come from how we conclude each of our sessions using the debrief process. This conference
was no different. The team met on the last day to debrief our experience. What were other
vendors in the arena doing, you may ask? They were packing up, preparing to leave to their
office, next conference, home, etc. Our team on the other hand was discussing our objectives,
lesson learned and so much more. The moment we looked up to monitor our surroundings and
confirm that we were discussing our action items, well, that moment was invaluable.
SPOTLIGHT: Our E-Colors team from Sam Houston State University’s Enrollment Management sends
out a monthly e-mail highlighting one E-Colors combination. The purpose of this communication is
to help all members of their team to have a better understanding of their colleagues and how to
best work together collaboratively.
One of the greatest parts of their e-mail communication is when they
challenge the highlighted E-Color to manage a potential limiter. Here is
an example of a challenge for a blue/green: Make a conscious effort
to speak up during your next meeting.

Cheers to the SHSU team for being a leading example of the Realizing
Potential Journey model: Foundation (Leadership Institute &
Development of E-Colors Team), Realization (On-Site Training & Build Self-Awareness) &
Sustainability (Maintain On-going Dialogue & Strategies to Improve Communication)!
