BIOGRAPHY
Ale Martí studied music at the Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires (EMBA). He recorded his
first solo album ‘In December’ in 1999 and took it on tour in his native Argentina. At the same
time he was working as a mastering and sound engineer for Argentine bands including Soda
Stereo, Charly Garcia and Fito Paez, whilst also composing music for commercials, TV and
theatre. In 2002 Ale moved to Madrid where he became the main compos er at ASK Mus ica &
Publicidad, one of Spain’s four biggest ad-music companies. He then moved to OEO Music
and lat er to Beat Music, two of the ot her leading studios, composing for clients including Coc a
Cola, Vodafone, Orange, Renault and McDonalds.
In 2007 he set up his own company, Sausalito Music, and started to write music specifically
for film and TV. Since then his credits have included primetime TV series ‘Hospital Cent ral’,
‘Crematorio’ and ‘Vive Cantando’. His film work includes ‘Fermat’s Room’, the documentary
‘Ana & I’ and the short film ‘Somos Amigos’. In 2014 Ale relocated to London, where his
studio is now based. He finished the year co-writing the soundtrack for the S panish film ‘El
Club de los incomprendidos’.
