“ALL THINGS FLESH AND BLOOD”
Core Concept:
The party is tracking down a natural-human only gang called “Humans First/Humans Last” with a plan to
send out a massive burst of EMP energy designed to fry cybernetics. The team learns it will actually burn
out any and all electronic circuits, not just cybernetics. Tens of thousands could die if the gang succeeds.
They start small with a few test kills, then wipe out a building, and then set their sights on a satellite
transmitter capable of wiping out the city.
GM Notes:
• Limit firepower – make it more about smarts than weapons unless they blow some yen.
• Use difficulty roles and/or a fixer to find military grade weapons and explosives, if at all.
• PreGens: Use core roles and backgrounds but less hardcore min/max gear and equipment. Any
combination will work but a solo, fixer, and tech are recommended.
• Pregen history should include run ins with HFHL
• The pages below are locations/scenarios/NPCs that can be introduced as the story progresses.
Possible NPC Names:
Shifty
Shellshock
Epique
Hack
Echo Echo
Father Dawkins (street preacher)
Father Bertrand (street preacher)
Adam
Eve
Gang Info:
Humans First/Humans Last (HF/HL) – Anti-cybernetics gang with rumored tie to “Nature’s Own”, a
cyber-rehab company that runs local clinics to replace cybernetics with grafted and vat-grown tissue and
organs.
• Members are known to be aggressive and openly violent to citizens that have visible
cybernetics. Known for torturing and killing overly-cyber’d street punks and harassing Ripper
Docs.

Strong black market ties in underground sales of Flesh Tech – vat grown tissues and organs with
modified genes spliced in, giving users added strength, speed, intelligence, etc.
Companies:
• Nature's Own - cybernetic rehab clinics used to treat cyber psychos and to assist people with
removing cybernetics and replace them with skin and organ grafts. Legit front for HF/HL.
• Neu-Horizons: Space/Communications/Nanotech/Medical R&D company in Night City.
Shortcuts:
• Run in with anti cyber street punks wearing HFHL flags leads party to CZ lab
• Run in with Neu-Horizons contact that talks about a break in to the satellite relay station.
• Chewie leaves notes/evidence behind pointing to HFHL.
OPENING:
The party is heading to see a ripper doc buddy named Chewie at his clinic/warehouse – you’ve had
some acquaintances go missing and there’s been some increased gang violence and your ripperdoc
friend wants to share some things he’s found out and some suspicions he has about who might be
behind it.
RIPPER DOC’S CLINIC:
As the friends are a block or two out, they hear/see an explosion – they arrive to see the ripper doc’s
warehouse in flames.
• Have team make roll for notice using demolitions – spots that this was obviously arson and
explosives, not an accident.
• In this part of town, it’ll take a few minutes for any police or fire to show up – if they do at all.
Going inside they find Chewie tied to an operating table in a non burning area – he’s been branded on
one of the last real-flesh parts of his body - the face - with a strange symbol. His cybernetics are smoking
and fried and there is a junked pile of equipment next to the table.
• Have the party roll for notice using technical – the better the role the better the info
o Low roll: You don’t recognize much but it looks like radio to you and it looks like
Chewie’s cybernetics were fried.
o Medium roll: You can spot a transmitter in the wreckage and it looks to you like it was
wrecked while being used. Lots of burned out capacitors – It looks like Chewie sat on an
EMP grenade as it went off. His cybernetics are totally blown and don’t look
salvageable.
o High roll: You can tell that all the equipment with circuits and low-grade cybernetics in
the room is fried. Everything in the lab/operating room is fried. Looks like some kind of
EMP burst but far stronger than normal.
Using contacts or party knowledge will show that HFHL is Humans First Humans Last – an anticybernetics gang of human purists.
• Have the party roll for street sense / streetwise (fixers esp.) – the better the role the better the
info
o Low roll: not much known outside of the ads on TV, cyberpsycho therapy and cybernetic
removals. Houses all over the city where you can go to have cybernetics removed and
have the flesh put back.
o Medium roll: heard that there is more to the group than what you see publicly. Rumors
of racism and an outright dislike of cybernetics, some “hate crimes” but nothing
concrete – rumors of ripperdocs going missing.
o High roll: rumors of anti-cybernetic research and flesh-tech – enhancements using drug
and hormone therapy, gene splicing, and vat-grown organs instead of cybernetics.
OPTIONAL / Noir effect: A member of the party remembers being approached by a street preacher
about Nature's Own and offering cyber therapy to “remove the curse of metal from flesh”. They wrote
him off as a maniac though and kept on. If they go looking they can find a street preacher.
Cyber Rehab Clinic owned by “Nature’s Own”
The building appears to be the standard strip-mall style medical clinic you’d see in the Sprawl. It’s in
a better part of town than you are used to - there’s no graffiti or broken windows and there are a
few friendly looking guys in front handing out pamphlets and asking passersby if they’d like to come
inside. The company logo is a nude man and woman kneeling in front of a man in a robe, reaching
up toward him. There are vines forming DNA strands around the border of the logo.

Guys in front can be Flesh-Tech enhanced and dangerous or just regular converts. No
cybernetics.
o If approached they will ask the party if they want their cybernetics removed and offer to
bring them inside.
o If assaulted, the Street Preacher could come out to intervene.
Layout is simple and kind of like a hospital with an admitting and admin area and then operating
and recovery rooms further back in the building.
Evidence could be found inside that leads the party to learn that Nature's Own is a front for Humans
First/Humans Last and that research is being done to create a powerful EMP weapon. The party
could head towards a lab located in the Combat Zone where the primary testing is going on.
Humans First/Human Last HQ and Lab
The building looks like just another run down Combat Zone pre-fab. Short, squat, and ugly with boarded
up broken windows on the upper floors and a few wrecked cars lining the street in front of it. There are
no windows on the lower floors and the main door looks sturdy. The other buildings are free of gang
markings but you spot a small HF/HL tag above the door.
- Roll for notice: Video cameras on the corners, guards disguised as vagrants, snipers on roof, etc.
The building should contain a large lab area where the EMP weapon and transmitter is being tested and
cells with the bodies of cyber'd up street punks that have been tested on and killed or damaged.
Street Preacher (Boss)
The party can run into Father Dawkins at any point that seems convenient, be it in the rehab clinic, the
CZ lab, or even in a chance encounter on the street. He’s the end result of the genetic manipulation and
organ implants so he’s a dangerous character.
The Street Preacher wears a loose fitting white robe like a Buddhist Monk, exposing his arms and face
and allowing a lot of movement. He has no visible weapons or armor. His exposed skin looks patch-work.
Graft scars and the evidence of many, many medical procedures. He has mismatched eyes and no hair at
all. He’s got gnarled muscles and joints like the limbs of a twisted oak tree. He looks like someone built
him out of spare parts, but even standing still he looks like a predatory animal.
• 6’ tall, approx. 220 lbs. Athletic frame bordering on overly muscular. Not at all natural looking.
o Strong, fast, dangerous.
o No visible cybernetics
• Doesn’t use weapons except hands and feet – frighteningly strong and fast, hard armor cuts
damage in half but will do 2d6 or so in hand/foot damage. Grapple should go for breaking bones
and crippling moves. Think 1st edition monk in AD&D.
Backstory: The Street Preacher used to be a Ripper Doc, a leader in the field of cybernetics and
enhancing humans through the use of technology. He started working in the field of bioengineering and
discovered that
Transmitter Relay Station at Neu-Horizons
The Neu-Horizons campus is on the outskirts of the corporate zone of Night City. At 75 stories, the main
building isn't as tall as the Arasaka HQ or other mega-corp buildings, but its 3 city-block complex
employs thousands of Neu-Horizons workers and houses
Space Defense/Tech building using satellite relays
Inside job – team might need to break as inside man is on the security team.
Have team find evidence of company involvement (Neu-Horizons) maybe a uniform or badge or
something.
