Murrelektronik meets the regulations and standards regarding environmental protection that concern the
respective production plants and acts in an eco-friendly manner throughout the company. Furthermore,
Murrelektronik treats natural reserves responsibly according to the principles of the Rio Declaration on
Environment and Development.

Murrelektronik aims to avoid using critical substances in products and components. Based on a list of prohibited
hazardous substances, we request our suppliers to supply only components and materials that do
not contain any substances that may have mutagenic, carcinogenic, teratogenic or other effects that are
hazardous to health. Unfortunately it is currently not possible to give validated statements for individual
products. Due to the large number of products Murrelektronik supplies and produces, it is unfortunately
not possible to carry out all necessary tests considering the scope of tests required.
