 larger a cell grows, the more
demands the cell places on the
DNA
 cell has more trouble moving
enough nutrients & wastes across
the cell membrane
DNA “OVERLOAD”
 amt DNA same whether cell
smaller or larger whereas
larger cells do have more
organelles to do work of cell
WHY ARE CELLS SO SMALL?
