Description
The KFS15 is a Call Point with Microswitch, and LED
selectable resistors. The KFS15 is operated by a cam-keyed
resettable plate. Fitted with a LED indicator, it is manufactured
to BS EN 54-11:2001.
Good engineering practice limitations apply.
Installation
Release the front cover by depressing the 2 tangs on the
underside of the control box, using the castellated tip
of the key shown alongside
Remove the operating plate by lifting upward to
compress the springs and ease forward and outward.
Use the back box template to mark up and drill fixing
holes. Pass cabling through rear entry and fix back
box in place.
Complete the electrical connections ‘+’ & ‘-‘ terminals to
the control box rear.
Use the terminals marked ‘LINK’ & choice of
LED resistor 470R or 680R. Use the
terminals marked IN+ and OUT+ to
connect the power to be switched
Secure to the back box using the two screws
provided.
 Re-insert the pressure plate cover into the
cupped section channels at the upper
edge of the control box. Ensure the
springs are properly located in the cups
and not underneath. Press upward to fully
compress the springs and ease over and
behind the central lens-retaining tang.
Replace front cover to securely lock onto the
control box base tangs.
 To reset, insert the cam-key into the
underside of front cover & rotate clockwise
until the yellow warning part of the label is
hidden.
