1. What is the Qur’an?
Muhammad’s teachings that were collected after his death.
Muslims believe the Qur’an to be the exact word of God as it
was told to Muhammad.

The world had a definite beginning and will end one day.

9. What is the Sunnah?
Refers to the way Muhammad lived, which provides a model
for the duties and the way of life expected of Muslims. It
guides Muslims’ behavior.

11. What is Shariah?
Islamic law, based on interpretations of the Qur’an and
Sunnah.
12. Why is Mecca considered the holiest city in Islam?
Mecca is the place where Muhammad lived and taught more
than 1,300 years ago.
The white garment symbolizes the equality and unity of all
Muslims.
