LIVE WORK
Phil’s 2016 Edinburgh show, fittingly titled Twenty, marked his 20th visit to the Fringe, where he got on to
the Telegraph’s list of the best jokes of the festival, following on from his rapturously received 2015 show,
I Don’t Want to Talk About It. Broadway Baby called it ‘complete and complex…you’ll remember it fondly
for years’.
In the role of Mandy Dinkleman, Phil joined the cast of The Machine for The Donmar Warehouse. The play
premiered at the Manchester International Festival and was then taken to New York and held in the Park
Avenue Armory.
Phil also took his show The Weary Land to Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2013 and received fantastic feedback
from audience and critics alike. This followed on from Nichol's sell out show Phil Nichol Rants! at The
Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2012 and his 2011 shows Simple Hour and A Small Fire Burns Still.
Phil headlines all the major comedy clubs around the country as well as performing at many corporate
