Otters Spelling Summer Term Week 5 – Common Exception Words
Spellings should be written neatly using the cursive script, including pre-strokes. Capital letters should only be used for proper nouns and the personal pronoun I.
Spellings will be tested on Tuesday 19th May. Housepoints will be awarded for consistent effort and improvement in spellings within independent writing across the
curriculum.
Spelling Rules: These are exceptions that do not follow any spelling rules although I have tried to group them where a similar pattern can be found.
