Conceptual Physics
Conceptual Physics is an introductory course in physics. Mathematics will be used but
the focus is on the physics concepts in this course. Students will sharpen their note
taking and studying skills. Laboratory activities will be used as often as possible. Real
life examples will be stressed. Students are expected to bring a calculator, bellringer
folder and basic supplies to class everyday.

– Motion (1D & 2D)
– Rotational motion
– Thermodynamics
– Waves
– Light
– Magnetism
- Forces
- Momentum
- Energy
- Sound
- Electricity
- Radioactivity
Students will do some projects in this class. Some of the projects will be part of their
midterm and final exam.
