OPERATING FREQUENCY(SPEED) CAN BE VARIED USING A CLOCK
CIRCUIT.
HAS HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE RESET FACILITY.

 POTENTIOMETER IS USED TO CONTROL THE CLOCK RATE
 OPERATING FREQUENCY OF 603 A ROBOT IS 0.45/RC

MEMORY LOAD SEQUENCER
 CONSISTS OF FLIP-FLOPS AND FEW GATES
 LOADS INPUTS FROM KEY PAD INTO MEMORY SEQUENCTIALLY

RESET CONTROLLER AND CIRCUIT
 HAS TWO RESET CIRCUITS– MANUAL AND PROGRAMMABLE

MEMORY CIRCUIT
 HEART OF THE PROGRAMMABLE ROBOT
 THE SIZE IS 256 WORD BY 4-BIT SRAM

ADDRESS COUNTER
 USES A CMOS BINARY COUNTER IC

PERFORMS TWO BASIC TASKS


TRANSFER POWER FROM THE MOTORS TO THE WHEELS
PROVIDE THE STEERING FUNCTION
TASKS ARE ACCOMPOLISHED BY A SERIES OF GEARS CALLED THE
DRIVE TRAINS.
MOTORS RUN WELL ONLY WHEN GEARS ARE TURINING AT A CERTAIN
SPEED.
A PROPER COMBINATION OF THE RIGHT KINDS OF GEARS IS A MUST
TO CONTROL THE SPEED AND PRODUCE THE REQUIRED TORQUE.
STEERING IS ACCOMPOLISHED BY OPERATING ONLY ONE MOTOR AT
A TIME.
