Nine academic support
Academic Support
workshops were offered in 2010- workshop survey
2011. Students completed
surveys at the end of each
workshop. The surveys were
very positive. The students felt
the workshops were a good
learning experience, they would
recommend future workshops to
other College Discovery students,
the topic presented was useful,
skills received from the workshop
will help them become a stronger
student, the workshop was
engaging, and the presenter was
knowledgeable about the topic at
hand. The survey's data will be
useful in determining the
effectiveness of the workshops
and if they are helping the
students in the future.
