Diffusion: Diffusion is the movement of molecules or particles from an
area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
Osmosis: Is a lot like diffusion but refers specifically to the movement
of water across a membrane from an area of high concentration to an
area of low concentration.
Turgor pressure: Refers to the pressure placed on the cell walls of plant
cells (Only plant cells have cell walls). When a plant has sufficient water
it’s cells will absorb the water and swell. This will cause a rise in Turgor
pressure and make the plant rigid. When the plant looses water the
cells loose turgor pressure and the plant begins to droop.
