Central Angle an angle whose vertex is at the center of a circle and sides are radii. Angle measure is less than 180o
Major arcs larger part of an arc
Minor arc smaller part of an arc
Measure in degree of a minor arc is equal to the measure of the degree of it's central angle.
Two arcs have the same measure if and only if their central angles are congruent.
Two arcs have the same measure if and only if the lengths of their corresponding chords are equal.
If a line contains the center of a circle and the midpoint of a chord, then the line is perpendicular to the chord
The perpendicular bisector of a chord of a circle, contains the center of a circle
