Cerebrum: The largest part of the
brain. It is divided into two
hemispheres and 4 lopes. They
are in charge of the higher level of
cognitive thought that makes
humans special.
?
Cerebral Cortex: The 2-3
mm membrane around the
cerebrum to increase the
overall surface area of the
brain.
Corpus Callosum: The
connection between the two
hemispheres of the cerebrum.
It contains the only myelinated
neurons in the Central Nervous
System.

Frontal Lobe: The front part of
the cerebrum that controls
emotions, logic, memory,
judgment. Contains the Motor
Cortex, the part of the brain
that controls muscle
movement.
Temporal Lobe: The section
of the cerebrum that
interprets messages from
the ears. Right lobe right ear.
Connects with the frontal
and parietal lobes.
Parietal Lobe: The area of
the cortex that deals with
the sense of touch and
interpretation of
temperature. Linked to the
frontal and temporal lobes.
Occipital Lobe: Interprets
messages associated to
vision. Lobe is linked to the
eyes by the optic nerve.
Linked with the temporal
lobe.

Olfactory bulb: Two
pockets attached to each
hemisphere of the brain
that interpret impulses
related with smell.
