Two sides and the angle between them (SAS):

Construct two triangles using the following pieces.
Two sides and an angle NOT between them (SSA):

C- 33 SSS Congruence –
If the three sides of one triangle are congruent to the three sides of another triangle, then
the triangles are congruent
C-34 SAS Congruence –
If two sides and the angle between them in one triangle are congruent to two sides and
the angle between them in another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SSA congruence does NOT necessarily imply triangle congruence.
*** Working your way around the triangle angles/sides must
be accounted for as they are found Consecutively!
Practice:
From the information given, complete each statement. If the triangles cannot be shown to be
congruent from the information given write CBD for “cannot be determined”.
