Theatre Technician
Here I Work as part of a three man Technical team. We are responsible for Health and
Safety and all technical maintenance of equipment and areas. We have daily set-ups
of different venues for different events, plus operation of sound, lights and AV
equipment when required. We work with amatures, professionals and children. Events
include; Theatre shows, corporate seminars, music performances and classes.

Stage Technician
Working in all venues, on board both Ocean Village Ships, predominantly “The
Marquee” (600 seat) theatre. During My Time with this company, I was also involved
in two “Re-fit’s”. This involved working with on board tech teams and with outside
contractors, Over-seeing paper designs, quotes and actual work on board for the
installation of new sound, light and AV equipment.










Day to day running of the product, as well as maintenance.
Daily set up and Sound Operation of live bands, singers and Comics. Both inhouse and visiting acts. (Inc. up to eight way monitor operation from FOH
desk).
Daily set up and Lighting Operation of live bands, singers and Comics.
Operation of sound for theatrical shows
Operation of Lights for theatrical shows
Operation of Sound, Lights and Av simultaneously during certain events.
General day-to-day maintenance of stage / technical equipment.
Supervision and training of stage crew during Set-ups and Strikes
Assisting Stage / Production manager, inc. paperwork & inventory
Planning and set-up of “Special Events” (New Year, crew bar etc.)

Working in all six venues on resort. Predominantly “Reds”, a 2500 capacity, receiving
venue, with a 32k L’Accoustic Arcs PA system.













Daily set up and Sound Operation of live bands, both in-house and visiting
acts. (Inc. up to 8 way monitor operation from FOH desk).
Operation of sound for Theatrical shows.

Program and operation of Yamaha O2R Digital desk

Daily Paperwork + general office duties.
General warehouse work – tidying, cleaning etc.
Loading wagons/lorries with pallets – forklift truck driving
Moving vans, 7.5 ton and Class 2 vehicles around the (private) yard.
Dealing with customers and fellow depots over the phone.
NB. – I DO NOT hold a licence for class 2 or forklift truck.
