ABOUT THE POSITION:
Quotip is currently in the development phase and in need of a co-founder with a statistical data
analysis / mathematical finance background. That person needs to be an expert and is motivated into
working for a start-up in the field of Machine Learning. Must be passionate, has coding skills (Python,
Panda, Numpy, Django, NoSQL), an entrepreneurial mindset and can manage an agile development
process (also lead developers on-/off-shore). Preferably has knowledge of data visualization and/or
security. Does not necessarily have to be full-time from beginning but would be preferential. And of
course that person needs to have a good sense of humor and is able to keep it while working long
hours.
ABOUT QUOTIP:
Quotip helps Wealth Managers (buy-side) generate additional, diversified returns with the artificial
intelligence-supported selection of Structured Financial Products (STPs). The near-zero (or even
below-zero) interest rate environment in most developed economies has accentuated the needs for
additional returns. Quotip’s machine learning based algorithm identifies opportunistic constellations
in the market (e.g. historical anomalies in terms of correlations between two stocks), combines them
with restrictions and risk metrics of an existing portfolio allocation and identifies matching product
parameters for the issuance of a bespoke STP. Quotip’s ultimate mission is to utilize the full potential
of the derivative component of STP’s, make these products more accessible and free from conflicts
of interest.
Quotip has been selected for the renowned Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab 2016

months’ program which took place in London, we have been able to talk to all the big Investment
Banks about our business proposition and implement their feedback directly into our product. Almost
all banks involved in the Structured Product business have shown interest in using Quotip. We are
currently talking to some of them about the tailored development of Quotip for their specific needs
and therefore we need to build resources and expertise as soon as possible.
