background of operational and technical support of the same for an exciting new
position in Europe. Waterblasting Technologies, the manufacturer of the Stripe Hog
Waterblasting Systems, is the world leader in ultra-high pressure solutions for
removing road markings and airport runway markings and rubber deposits. With
Stripe Hog Waterblasting Systems in use in over 80 countries, our sales leaders are
key partners in our success.
This Sales Professional position will combine the responsibilities of a typical Sales
Leader with a direct marketing and Brand Ambassador role. The ideal candidate will
be able drive our Strip Hog and must possess a C Class Driver's license. This team
member will support our current customer base in Europe while growing our brand
through new sales and relationship building in our industry.
This position will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. The successful candidate will
be expected to perform a combination of tasks that will requires experience with
heavy equipment sales while being able to demonstrate the Stripe Hog
Waterblasting System to potential customers. This position will also be the lead
person in our European market to support our customers by phone and in person
on technical issues they may be facing.
The ideal candidate will fluently speak English. A high degree of proficiency in other
languages is also required (i.e., French, German, Czech, etc.). This candidate
should be licensed to drive heavy equipment. The successful candidate will receive
comprehensive training at our corporate office in Stuart, Florida, USA, for a period
of 60-90 days. After the training period, the sales professional can expect to travel
up to 50% of the time, supporting demonstrations at locations throughout Europe,
making sales calls and visiting with existing customers. The remainder of the time
will be spent at the Prague office managing the administrative requirements and
inside sales tasks, to include prospecting, follow-ups, scheduling meetings and
demonstrations and managing the CRM. A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft
Office Suite, SalesForce and Social Media platforms is also desired.
Specific responsibilities include:
Demonstrate experience with heavy equipment sales, operations, and
technical support. This includes a class C driving license, a minimum of 6
months driving experience, and a clean driving record. The candidate might
have worked in the past with companies similar to Caterpillar, John Deere,
Liebherr, Schmidt, Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, Scania, Iveco or similar heavy
equipment companies.
A high proficiency in French and/or German with the ability to speak at a
technical level.
References from previous employers.
Receive calls from potential customers with the ability to answer basic
questions and collect appropriate information to assist potential customers
with product selection.
Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of
inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken.
Maintain assigned customers while developing new leads.
Explain to customers how specific types of equipment will help promote their
services.
Process correspondence and paperwork related to accounts.
Provide assistance with proposals and quotes; enter information in company
CRM (salesforce.com).
Ensure that appropriate follow up is being conducted to maintain all leads.
Obtain all relevant information to assess validity of sales opportunities and
elevate the opportunity to the appropriate sales person.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal
networks; participating in professional societies
Other duties as needed to meet sales requirements.
