años en logística nacional e internacional y cadena de suministro. Requistos Ingles y Españols

Our client, a petrochemical multinational with several sites in Belgium, is looking for a Procurement
Specialist OPEX with a national responsibility.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OFERTA:
Terminal & rail transport Management: (40% of time)
- Manage all storage terminal agreements operationally (invoice checking, correspondence, issue log
management, optimization project management, be primary contact person between Methanex and
Terminals).
- Create environment of high efficiency and flawless service with terminal staff (incl. terminal operation
managers). Create action plans in cooperation with the terminals to enhance the productivity/efficiency in
order to enhance Mx's customer service and logistics.
- Evaluate and negotiate technical and logistical aspects and contribute to the operational aspects of the
storage contracts. Develop and improve new/existing Service level Agreements and KPI reports

- Hold effective negotiations / ensure continuous optimisation dialogue with logistics subcontractors to
promote and build long term relationships.
- Actively contribute to the optimisation of the tactical plan for supply in Europe
- Analyse and act as regional leader for development or optimization of IT links between Methanex and
terminals. Pro-active participation in IT projects linked to terminals. Be the driver to make sure any project
is in line with our business needs from an operational perspective.
- Coordinate quarterly meetings with the main terminals in conjunction with the Supply & Logistics
Supervisor and the Supervisor Customer Service, Quality & R.C to ensure good supplier relationships and
review operational issues.
- Select, finalize and manage rail agreements with subcontractors
- Hold effective negotiations with logistics subcontractors to promote and build long term relationships
- Ensure internal knowledge on railway transport in Europe increases substantially
- Share best practice knowledge with US staff and transmit this information within the EU organisation
Administrative Supply Chain Management: (45% of time)
- Manage the inventory reconciliation process for all inventory business units monthly (except VMI locations
who are managed by the customer responsible person of that VMI location)
- Full administrative management in systems of purchased and swapped material (including contract
management in support of Supervisor)
- Manage the Terminal Inventory report and be the coordinator of supply and inventory communication
within the EU organization and towards the VCR organization
- Raise Purchase Orders for Intercompany and 3rd Party purchased material by vessel.
- Receive PO's into Inventory for Direct deliveries to customers.
And you will be also involved on some Quality and Safety guidelines in terms of improvement.
QUE BUSCAMOS:
- University degree in Economics or high school degree in transport or logistics management
- Experience: three - five years in national and international logistics / supply chain
- Languages: Strong English .Other languages an asset (Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian most value
adding)).
- Understanding of product, processes, customers, competition and commercial awareness
- Strong negotiation & contract management skills - commercial and cost focus
- Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
- Analytical mind and strong problem solving skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Highly motivated with drive for customer service excellence
