Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through MHN
The County provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all employees, free of charge. The EAP provides
employees and their families access to a wide range of tools and resources to help balance work and life, improve health
and wellness, and enhance emotional wellbeing. Up to 5 in-person, telephonic, or web-based visits per incident per year
are available to assist with:
•
Relationship issues – marriage, family and personal relationship
•
Problems in the workplace – help to resolve troubles at work
•
Stress, anxiety and sadness –managing fear, uncertainty or sorrow
•
Grief, loss or responses to traumatic events – coping with loss of a loved one or disturbing life events
•
Substance use disorders – identifying and dealing with personal or family substance abuse problems
•
Legal matters – speak with an attorney on any legal matter, assistance with wills and trusts
•
Financial planning – financial review, retirement planning, getting out of debt
•
Identity theft recovery services – assistance to repair the damage caused by identity theft
•
Child, eldercare advice, daily living - referral qualified service providers
•
Wellness tools and support – access to powerful on-line health/wellness tools and resources
