The anterior humeral line is a line drawn on the lateral radiograph along the anterior surface of the humerus through the elbow. Normally this line transects
through the middle of the capitellum. With an extension fracture of the supracondylar region, this line will either transect the anterior third of the capitellum
or pass entirely anterior to it.
