The courses at the World Language Learning Centre run during the GWA-Etoy school term time. Class sizes will be limited to 10 students.
Usually, a minimum of 4 students is required to run a class. Classes with less than 4 students are possible and will be charged as a semi-private class, with the individual
tuition fee divided equally between the students attending.
English
All courses prepare students for both the LAMDA communications examinations and the CAMBRIDGE English examinations.
The LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) communication courses are ideal for native and non-native speakers who would like to build confidence, widen
vocabulary and develop their personal presentation skills. LAMDA is one of the most highly respected drama schools in London and offers internationally recognised
examinations, which, at the higher level, provide the student with points for the UCAS university entry system. GWA-Etoy is registered with LAMDA as a private examination
centre in Switzerland.
The CAMBRIDGE English examinations are offered at all levels (KET A2, PET B1, FIRST B2) and test the four key competences of reading, writing, listening and speaking. These
examinations complement the LAMDA examination and are recognised globally.
French
The French courses are communication focussed. There is also the opportunity to prepare the DELF prim, junior and adult DELF and DALF examinations.
German
The German courses are communication focussed. There is also the opportunity to prepare for the Goethe-Zertifikat examinations.
Spanish
The Spanish courses are communication focussed. There is also the opportunity to prepare for the DELE examinations.
