Conference on
Regulating Financial Markets
to be held at House of Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany
June, 12th – 13st, 2017
The organising committee invites submissions of high-quality theoretical or empirical research papers on
regulation of financial markets. The conference calls for papers especially covering topics on the link
between financial intermediation and regulation, including (but not limited to):
-
the evaluation of macroprudential tools and unconventional monetary policy on financial
institutions
the effects of financial market regulation on the real economy
the impact of regulation on competition among banks and other financial institutions
the market entrance and exit of financial institutions
the coordination of supervision and regulation
the impact of capital regulation on bank behavior
the interaction of liquidity and solvency risk
the interaction of banking and trading (e.g. bank business models, compensation)
The keynote speaker will be Amit Seru (Stanford University).
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 15th, 2017
To submit a paper, please send an e-mail with your submission to [email protected] and
[email protected] with reference to “Regulating Financial Markets 2017”. Economy
travel and accommodation (subject to limits) for all invited speakers and discussants will be covered.
