Apex Parks Group Job Description Job Title: Vice President of Marketing and Sales Reports To: President and CEO Officed At: Aliso Viejo, CA (Orange Country) Job Summary: This role is responsible for leading marketing and sales for the entire company, including managing the advertising agency, setting key strategies for the company – to include brand management, price structure, creative direction, promotional activity, related resource allocation, business development and trend analysis – at each of the parks as well as for the entire company. A successful VP of Marketing and Sales for Apex Parks Group will have the following job and core job competencies and possess the qualities and skill set to be able to meet company expectations Job Competencies ‐ Critical success factors needed to effectively do the job, this list is not all inclusive. 


Theme Park and/or FEC experience (multi park and/or multi discipline background preferred) Applies effective Marketing, Media and Sales Strategies as part of an effective Business Model Business Acumen, experienced with preparation and analysis of Marketing and Sales Plans, trend analysis, Budgets and Forecasts, and media plans  Ability to develop and understand and implement key business strategies and objectives  Excellent Communicator who acts as the Leader and able to manage feature/crisis communication  Superior Leadership skills: well versed in team dynamics, managing change, and negotiation  Experience with developing, maintaining and growing Entertainment Brands  Excellent computer skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office Products Core Job Competencies ‐ Critical success factors that are tied to the Vision, Mission, and Strategic Imperatives outlined by Apex Parks Group, this list is not all inclusive. 
