Course Description: (3 credit hours)
An introduction to artificial Intelligence, symbolic reasoning and knowledge representation techniques,
control strategies, heuristic search, and AI applications (expert systems, neural language processing,
robotics…etc.). Introduction to neural networks, genetic algorithm and simulated annealing.
Course Intended Outcomes: At the end of the course, students are expected to learn:






Basic Problem solving strategies
Heuristic search Techniques.
Knowledge representation and problem solving using machine intelligence.
Some of the widely used applications of AI: Expert systems and Natural language processing.
Getting introduced to Neural Network, GA and simulated annealing.
Overview of agents and robotic.

Attendance is mandatory and University regulations will be enforced.
All Cheating incidents will be reported to the chair. The following activities are considered cheating:
