As a Training / Merchandising representative and Brand Ambassador of KitchenAid Small Appliances,
you will be responsible for driving brand awareness and product knowledge to Retail Sales Associate's
(RSA's) and consumers in major retail stores.
You will be committed to training and educating RSA's on KitchenAid products, as well as ensuring floor
models are in showroom condition! Whether you are demonstrating, training, merchandising or
supporting sales associates on a day to day basis your energy, professionalism and attention to detail
will be the key to your success!
We are currently recruiting for a KitchenAid Appliance Retail Specialist (KARS), who is based in
Montreal and able to travel within the <Ottaw> territory.
This is a permanent part time position at approx. <24> hrs/week and a flexible weekly schedule.

Have excellent selling and presentation skills
Have the ability to differentiate our brand portfolio through key messaging and positioning.
Effectively Manage a multi-store territory
Have an insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn about retail and about the small appliance
industry.
Effectively focus on fostering relationships with store personnel, both at the associate and
managerial levels.
Maintain the cleanliness of floor model displays.
Support launches of new products through merchandising, education and customer demos.
To be successful in this role you are required to:








Have engaging presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with customers and store staff
Have a passion for cooking and/or baking!
Be dynamic, energetic, and committed to a long term program
Have previous retail or territory management experience
Be computer literate and have access to a printer; work laptop will be provided
Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license as there will be frequent travel in your territory
Be available to work on some weekends for store demos
