Can money buy happiness ?
Money is a big word in our community and in every community since making money is
not an easy process at all and the way we live is based now on how much money do we make.
Relating that to the fact that money can buy almost every thing in the world and gives you
control and power, the question is 'Can money buy happiness?' There is a lot of different
opinions in this some may agree and some may not. The connection between money and
happiness has been presented in many different theories and studies which will be reviewed later.
Choosing this article is important to gather as many theories have been applied on money and
happiness as passible to finally define the strongest theory that answers the question that has
been taking place for so long.

This article is basically saying that you can choose to be happy! It is connecting the desire of
looking for happiness in money negatively to a particular motive. More over it shows that two
studies have been applied to two people from different environment to demonstrates that "The
quest for a happier serf through money is a particularly negative predictor of well-being". This
gives me the first psychological point to look at.

Professor Justin Wolfers answered questions in this article presenting the relationship between
money and happiness. It supports the idea that more money means more happiness by showing
the increase of happiness when people get rich and comparing rich and poor countries in
happiness "THE WEALTHIER ARE HAPPIER" ha says. This article have the idea that took
place in this new generation and it based on reality away from the psychological side. Having
that in my essay helps me to cover as many ideas about happiness and money as I can.

"money buys little happiness" As suggested in this article. This suggestion is based on
questioning what is the real value of money and attempt to the important effect of the causal
effect of income on happiness. I have chosen this article to compare between what it suggested
here and what professor Justin Wolfers say on his researches.
