Velocity of Car on Race Track Interpretation of Velocity Vector attributes: At every point of the car’s path we can draw a velocity vector (arrow) with the following attributes. a. Direction: direction the car is moving at that point b. Magnitude: speed of the car at that point __________________________________________________________ 2. Force Due to Gravity Interpretation of Force Vector attributes: Whenever a force is applied to an object we can draw a vector with the following attributes. a. Direction: direction of the applied force b. Magnitude: ‘amount’ of force applied ( lbs, newtons, etc) __________________________________________________________________ 3. Vector Field of Wind Velocities Interpretation of Wind Velocity Vector attributes: At every location on a map we can draw a vector with the following attributes. a.
