R. Michelle Evans~Week 19 This would normally be writing week, but we are
trying to finish our English/Grammar unit before Christmas break.

when writing or speaking.

and spelling when writing or speaking.

Students will be able to recognize and distinguish the types of verbs in order to help

with sentence syntax and diction. They will also be able to distinguish verbs in
order to help them with subject verb agreement and verb tense.

Monday: We will:
*do flashbacks so they can find their own mistakes in their writing
*continue chapter review over verbs
*finish chapter review with in class assignment P171-175
*remind them chapter assessment on Thursday
Tuesday: We will:
*do flashbacks so that they can find their own mistakes in their writing
*review verbs
*discuss yesterday’s assignment
*begin study guide which is an exact copy of the test
Wednesday: We will:
*do flashbacks so that they can find their own mistakes in their writing
*review yesterday’s assignment
*play review game
*remind assessment tomorrow
Thursday: We will:
*bellwork/flashback
*assessment
*if finish early, we will try to finish our on demands number 5 letter
Friday: We will:
*bellwork/flashback so they can find their own errors and identify figurative language
*finish on demand 5 letter
