There is growing demand for long-term service agreements
and increased peace of mind.The Evergreen service category
meets these demands, and increases the system uptime. It
means that spare parts, updates and upgrades are built into
the service agreement. Replacing the components that needs
to be replaced at the right time. Tailored to suit the specific
needs of our customers, and a balance between spareparts,
updates, and upgrades.
Evergreen Updates is divided into four service products:
– Computer Replacement (described here)
– Cyber Security
– Remote Service HW & SW
– SW Updates
Computer Replacement
The Computer Replacement service product is part of the
Evergreen service category, and hence harmonizing with the
other Evergreen service products such as Upgrades and
Spareparts.
After doing a Computer Replacement maintainability is
increased, including increased spareparts availability. When
replacing the computers for newer ones the supported Operating system is installed together with tools for fault tracing and
analysis. A Computer Replacement enables the most
advanced services, including Remote Services, Cyber Security
Services such as Security Update Management, Malware
Detection, and User Auditing.
Lifecycle Optimization
The Evergreen mix addresses the needs for LifeCycle Optimization, optimizing the performance with respect to TCO (Total
Cost of Ownership). By offering the right Evergreen mix we
ensure that the TCO is relevant. Replacing the components
that needs to be replaced at the right time.
Update Intervals for FACTS System Components
The life-expectancy for a FACTS System is 25 to 30 years, and
sometimes more. To achieve this lifecycle we need to consider
the update intervals for the system components, and how it
varies from many years for I/O system to a magnitude of
months for some security updates.
