In 2010, DuPont established its legal entity in Nigeria as a hub for DuPont in West Africa.
Nigeria’s population is set to reach 440 million by 2050, and DuPont is working with
customers, the Nigerian government, NGOs and thought leaders to discover solutions to
the challenges brought on by the rapid population growth.
Nigeria recently surpassed South Africa as Africa’s largest economy, and with the
expected continued growth the country offers DuPont tremendous opportunities.
