Relative: Florida is east of Mississippi and
south of Georgia.
Absolute: 27 North 30 West.

Time Zone: Florida is in the Eastern

Place
One landmark in Florida is Disney World. It was made after the popular
person who invented Mickey Mouse (original name was Mortimer, Walt
Disney) A landform is the Everglades. It is the largest tropical wilderness in
the world. One of Florida’s traditions
is the Citrus Festival. The Citrus Festival
is a carnival that celebrates Florida’s top
crops - citrus fruit. The climate in Florida is
an average of 80*F for summer and an
average of 54*F in the winter.
Movement
Tampa National Airport is a good place to travel. You
can travel almost everywhere there. The overseas
highway goes 218 miles across the ocean. Florida’s
exports are oranges, snap beans,
squash and tomatoes.
The agriculture is
sugar-cane and cattle.

Since they have a normal amount of hurricanes, they
invented hurricane glass to protect their homes from
damage. They built a causeway, a causeway is a raised
road across land or water. They depend on
sunscreen so they can enjoy
the beach and not get baked
alive!!! With the harsh climate
that they have, they need sunscreen
to tan but not burn.
