Body Systems
The Circulatory (Cardiovascular) System includes the heart,
the blood, and the blood vessels.
The Integumentary System includes the skin, hair, nails, and
sweat glands.
The Digestive System includes the mouth, esophagus, stomach,
liver, gall bladder, pancreas, small intestine, and the large
intestine.
The Endocrine System includes all of the glands in the body.
The glands you will focus on the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary
(the master) glands. The pancreas is the major organ in this
system.
The Excretory System includes the liver, kidneys, ureters,
urethra, and bladder.
The Muscular System includes all of the muscles and tendons
of the body.
The Nervous System includes the brain, the spinal cord, and all
of the nerves of the body.
The Respiratory System includes the nose, the mouth, the
trachea, the bronchial tubes, alveoli, and the lungs.
The Skeletal System includes all of the bones of the body.
