Implementation/Data Analyst

Systems or related business field (e.g. computer
science, statistics). Masters degree in preferred.
Req'd Experience: 3-5 years of data analyst
and/or business intelligence (e.g. decision support)
and/or database management experience.
Req'd Travel: occasional travel may be required
DESCRIPTION
This position reports to the Business Intelligence department and is responsible for supporting the Client Implementation
Managers with daily operations and implementation functions, as well as, data mining and analytic support for client
reporting.
Responsible for coordinating the exchange of information between the client and their external partners.
Work with internal and external designers and analysts as a team member in planning and developing new data
integration solutions.
Must have a broad understanding of various ETL/integration tools, business processes and how they relate to
technology.
Must be hands on, technically proficient, customer and service oriented. Involved in managing multiple tasks.
Must have solid knowledge of data transformation development and FTP/SFTP applications and encryption.
Must have experience in administering and maintaining internal development processes and procedures.
Must have strong skills in data analysis & integration.
Requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, testing and communication skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.
Anticipates the impact that new or modified software will have on existing standards and systems.
Reviews and evaluates proposals to determine feasibility and compatibility.
Works with DBA Team to design relational data structures that meet users needs today and ensure scalability for the
future
Selects testing methods to evaluate the success of both software upgrades and modifications.
Monitors system performance to ensure proper operation and identify possible problem areas.
Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements.
Develop both stored procedure and report templates as may be required to fulfill data and reporting requirements.
Provide data mining and analytic support to Implementations and Reporting and Data Analytics.
Manages and develops new processes using in-house and third-party data integration software.
Conduct special projects and analysis as requested for internal and external needs.
Working professionally with external clients to exchange data and resolve data transfer issues
Position involves working on multiple concurrent projects, changing priorities / prioritizing the work, and function
effectively under tight deadlines.
Requirements
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server 2005
Experience with ETL tools, SSIS and/or BridgeGate preferred
Experience with MS Reporting Services a plus
Knowledge of programming languages
Strong knowledge of principles of system analysis and design
Excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Ability to learn hardware and software products with or without formal training
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge and understanding of quantitative analysis is required and statistical analysis is preferred
MUST be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
