
Responsibilities
Working in Abu-Qir Power Station Project (Steam cycle 2*650 MW) attend and witness and
Assistant for the Commissioning and Start-Up Teams for all the mechanical and Electrical
Systems for the 650-Unit as motors, pumps, Electrical panels, medium voltage switchgear, High
Voltage Switchgear and Closed cooling system....etc.
Monitor and coordinate boiler commissioning activities proceedings for system flushes, steam
blows, Chemical Cleaning, pneumatic hydrostatic testing, pipe lines air blowing, motors solo run
tests, fans heat run test ...etc. and we are working on the project until now in the commissioning
and start-up phase.
Working on a different GIS system double breaker double bus bar under 500KV connected with
the 220KV network through a tie transformer, coordinate and witness for the commissioning of
circuit breakers, transformers, bushing, high voltage and low voltage cables and working on
protection systems (Siemens protection relays) on DIGSI software for initializing and
programming protection relays and make commissioning for some relays and some working on
CFC chart.

Attended HRSG (NEM) and Gas turbine (MHI M701F) commissioning activities like pipe lines air
blowing ,flushing, motors solo run tests, HRSG chemical cleaning ,fans heat run test, steam blow,
feed water pumps, condensate pumps, closed cooling , compressors commissioning activities
......etc.
Working in the same Station later as a operation Engineer attend the first over all maintenance
for the Gas turbine Unit(250 MW/MHI Model M701F) for the Burners and the second one also for
the burners and for Turbine blades and the third one was the major over all maintenance for the
compressor, burners, and turbine blades.
Working in GIS (Gas Isolated System) for Siemens responsible for connect and disconnect
circuit breakers, disconnectors and electric generators under high voltage difference 220KV
manually and through SICAM pas software and attended all the commissioning phase for GIS
system, for the protection relays and for the Circuit breakers for a 1.5 system connection 220KV.

I did a lot of presentations due to my work in power plants field it was done to Junior engineers as a trainee
programs and also in Master degree studies I did presentations on Neural Networks and on Digital
Protection Relays.
Projects
We did a lot of projects during College and also during master degree phase the biggest project was my
graduation project it was about HDTV and after graduation I joined students in final year to helped them in
the graduation project and also in my Master Degree I prepared commissioning sheets and done the tests
for Digital Protection Relays.
