The Opportunity
As Junior Sous Chef in the main Kitchen you will be
responsible for day to day supervision and preparation
of high quality Modern British style cooking, ensuring
that the highest standards are maintained at all. You
will ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all
Kitchen areas when under your supervision and you
will undertake any specific function of Kitchen
management as delegated by the Sous Chef or Head
Chef.
Key Skills are:
-Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills

-A high standard of personal presentation
-Confident, professional and welcoming personality

Are you an experienced Waiter/ess looking for a new challenge? Are you friendly, polite and well-presented?
A Full time Waiter/Waitress is required for this stunning country house hotel on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
The Hotel is a 14 bedrooms, 18th Century building with amazing views across the Loch and extensive grounds
comprising a 9 holes golf course and a Salmon fishing river.
The 2 Restaurants serve 40 covers each. The first is a fine dine wood panelled restaurant and the second a more
relaxed conservatory with stunning views over the loch. You will be working within a team of 4/6 in a relaxed and
friendly atmosphere. In this position you will be required to assist with the service of quality food in a professional
manner, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. Duties will include greeting customers, taking
orders and serving food, recommending wine, on which further training will be given.
You must have at least 6 months experience of working within a quality restaurant, ideally with rosette accreditation,
and possess excellent customer service skills.
You will have a friendly attitude and be very well presented. You must have the ability to work within a team to a very
high standard. You must also have some knowledge of food and wine.
The Hotel is undergoing some changes and our fine dining Restaurant is aiming for Rosettes, promising to set and
uphold the finest standards of food and service.
Therefore this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious waiter/waitress who wants to develop within the industry.
