Description
These rocks were formed by means of
mechanical weathering, from wind. Over
time, sand was blown against the rock
formation by wind causing sediment to be
weathered away, leaving the current
formation.
Mechanical weathering
by water
These rocks were formed by means of
mechanical weathering, from water. The
salty water in the waves washes over these
rocks causing sediment to be weathered
away. Over time the rock was weathered
and shaped by the water.
