Unit Overview: Examine the civilizations that laid the groundwork for our legal system,
democratic form of government, many of the world’s major religions, and important
inventions.
Notebook checks will occur at the end of each chapter. If you are not finished, you will not
receive credit. Test day is September 15th (Block Day).
Part I: All words must be hand written in your notebook. Typed work or work on loose-leaf
paper will NEVER be accepted.
For each of the vocabulary words:
