Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. It has many craters on its surface, like Earth’s moon.
Venus is the second planet from the sun. It rotates in the opposite direction than the other inner planets.
Earth is the third planet from the sun. It is the only planet we know of that has life.
Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. Dust storms are common and the dust is what gives mars its reddish color.

Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun. It is tilted so far on its axis that it rotates on its side. Also, the rotation is
in the opposite direction of the rest of the outer planets. It also has rings.
Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun. It has narrow, faint rings arranged in clumps.
